WERNER R. MEISSNER

Werner R. Meissner, who uses the nickname “Vern,” began practicing law in Los Angeles at a prestigious medical malpractice defense firm. While working there, he gained vast knowledge of medicine, anatomy and medical-legal issues which enables him to understand and thoroughly explain them to obtain maximum recoveries for his clients. He also gained invaluable experience and knowledge of how insurance companies handle, evaluate and resolve cases, gaining the respect of his adversaries.

Having realized that his calling was to become an advocate and lawyer who represents consumers and victims of accidents and other wrongdoings, Mr. Meissner joined an established Plaintiffs’ firm where he acquired the status of a prominent Plaintiffs’ attorney handling Automobile, Motorcycle, Pedestrian, Dog Bite, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability, Work related and other major Personal Injury cases on behalf of injured clients.

In 1985, he founded the Law Office of Werner R. Meissner, A Professional Law Corp., which has evolved into Meissner Law Firm, PC, and it has been at the same location ever since. Mr. Meissner and his associates have gained a formidable reputation in the community and have handled a vast array of cases with values ranging from tens of thousands of dollars to several million dollars. They have handled cases against some of the top law firms in the state and country. The Meissner Law Firm has established itself as one of the prominent law firms in the Los Angeles, South Bay, Orange County, Sacramento, and other Southern and Northern California areas, handling cases from San Diego to Sacramento and everywhere in between.

Mr. Meissner has earned the respect of top lawyers, judges, arbitrators, mediators, and opposing counsel. His tenacity and drive has also earned him another nickname “bulldog.” While maintaining a high degree of professionalism and ethics, he is not being afraid of challenges or breaking new legal grounds. He has successfully pursued litigation against the State of California, the Roman Catholic Church, numerous counties and cities, various school districts, major companies, hospitals, medical centers, large retailers and countless insurance companies.
